You can use your qualifying mobility allowance to lease a brand-new vehicle through the Scheme. Choose from some of the latest makes and models of cars and electric vehicles (EVs) to help give you the freedom to move your way. How it works:

If you receive a qualifying mobility allowance, you can swap all or part of it for a brand-new car. Different adaptations are also available to help you use your vehicle.

Your all-inclusive package Every car lease includes: 

• Insurance for up to three drivers 
• Servicing and maintenance
• Full breakdown cover 
• Tyre repair and replacement 
• Standard chargepoint installation and support when you lease your first EV through the Scheme

Who is eligible? 

The Scheme is available to anyone who receives one of these allowances: 

• Higher rate mobility part of Personal Independence Payment (PIP) 
• Higher rate mobility part of Disability Living Allowance (DLA) 
• Enhanced rate mobility part of Adult Disability Payment
• Higher rate mobility component of Child Disability Payment
• War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS) 
• Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
